The Objective
The objective of The Evan Thomas Institute is to make children intellectually, physically, and socially excellent.
The Purpose
The Evan Thomas Institute teaches parents from all over the world the philosophy and practice of child brain development. It provides courses of instruction and programs to enable parents to design their own program to teach their children and significantly enhance their ability at home.

The Philosophy
All children love to learn. They can learn absolutely anything that can be taught in an honest and factual way when they are taught in a joyous way. The younger a child is, the easier it is for the child to learn.
Parents who have been carefully instructed in child brain development are the very best teachers for their own children.
The parent and child together are the most dynamic teaching and learning team.
The family is the cradle for intellectual, physical, and social excellence in the child.
History
The Evan Thomas Institute was established in 1975 as one of The Institutes for the Achievement of Human Potential. It is named in honor of Evan Wellington Thomas, MD, born in 1890. He was a full-time physician volunteer at The Institutes for ten years, until his final day in 1974.
