MOBILITY

CRAWLING:

Of the 772 children who were unable to move, 330 (43%) crawled for the first time. They went from being paralyzed to being able to crawl across a room. (They ranged in age from 8 months to 22 years 10 months.)

CREEPING:

Of the 391 children who were unable to creep, 265 (68%) began to creep for the first time.  This is to say that they defied gravity to move to the third dimension and now get all over the house on hands and knees. (They ranged in age from 7 months to 21 years 6 months.)

WALKING:

Of the 380 children who were unable to walk, 194 (52%) began to walk without help for the first time. (They ranged in age from 14 months to 23 years 8 months.)

RUNNING:

Of the 455 children who were able to walk but not run, 263 (58%) learned to run for the first time. (They ranged in age from 32 months to 25 years 8 months.)

SEEING

Of the 252 children who were blind, 213 (85%) saw for the first time and 178 children learned to read. (They ranged in age 8 months to 22 years 1 month.)

HEARING

Of the 110 children who were deaf, 100 children (91%) heard for the first time. (They ranged in age from 8 months to 22 years 1 month.)

UNDERSTANDING

Of the 883 children whose comprehension was not yet equal to that of the average three-year-old, 805 children (91%) were able to understand at least as well as a three-year-old for the first time. (They ranged in age from 15 months to 22 years 1 month.)

READING

Of the 1,156 children who were unable to read, 1,141 children (99%) read for the first time. (They ranged in age from 8 months to 21 years 7 months.)

TALKING

Of the 907 children who were unable to speak, 431 (48%) spoke for the first time. (They ranged in age from 16 months to 21 years 4 months.)

WRITING

Of the 541 children who were unable to write, 150 (28%) wrote for the first time. (They ranged in age from 4 years 4 months to 37 years 8 months.)

HEALTH

Of 1,262 children who were on the program for 12 months or more, 371 (29%) achieved perfect health for at least 12 consecutive months. Of these, 141 had no illness for more than 24 months, and one had no illness for 12 years 3 months.

DETOXIFICATION

Of the 474 children who were on anticonvulsant medication, 347 (73%) were completely and successfully detoxified. (They ranged in age from 12 months to 33 years 1 month.) Of the remaining children, 30 of them are in the process of complete detoxification.

GRADUATION TO LIFE BY PARENTS

Forty-five children were graduated to life by their parents. (They ranged in age from 19 months to 32 years 5 months).

GRADUATION TO LIFE

Thirty-three children were graduated to life by The Institutes staff. (They ranged in age from 12 months to 28 years 3 months.)

FULL GRADUATION

Eleven children were graduated from the Home Program. (They ranged in age from 6 years 3 months to 17 years 5 months.)
